Project DigiForce

Driving the Future of Jaya Hind Industries

Jaya Hind Industries has launched Project DigiForce, a long-term digital transformation program aimed at enhancing customer experience, driving innovation, and improving productivity across the organisation. The initiative focuses on strengthening how teams collaborate and operate by leveraging data and digital tools across the value chain.

Defined in partnership with Ernst & Young (EY), the digital strategy begins with the front-end value chain. A key milestone in this journey is the rollout of a unified RFQ and Key Account Management (KAM) platform, developed in collaboration with Zoho Corporation. Built on Zoho CRM Plus and powered by its AI engine, Zia, the platform integrates RFQ management, new product development (NPD), and customer engagement into a single digital backbone, accessible via both web and mobile.

The platform enables faster decision-making through real-time data, improves
visibility across programmes, and strengthens collaboration while accelerating the journey from RFQ to production and enhancing OEM engagement through integrated systems like SAP. In parallel, HR capabilities are being upgraded through a new HRMS platform from PeopleStrong. The next phase of Project DigiForce will focus on enterprise-wide initiatives, including factory digitisation and MES integration, to build a more connected and future-ready digital ecosystem.

Project Lakshya

Transforming Talent for a Future-Ready Organization

Project Lakshya is Jaya Hind Industries’ initiative to build leadership, technical expertise, and managerial strength. It equips employees with the skills needed to meet the demands of a fast-changing industry. As part of this initiative, Jaya Hind Industries has collaborated with the SP Jain School of Global Management to launch an Executive Development Program (EDP). Alongside the EDP, other programs under Project Lakshya are led by subject matter experts and trainers. These programs are tailored for different levels within the company and focus on professional, behavioral, managerial, and leadership skills relevant to today’s automotive sector. Project Lakshya also includes a complete upgrade of the company’s human resource systems through the rollout of a new HRMS platform.

Sustainability

Engineering a Cleaner Future

At Jaya Hind Industries, sustainability is embedded in how we design, manufacture, and operate. In a process-intensive industry like die casting, where energy, materials, and water are critical inputs, responsible practices across the value chain are essential to long-term competitiveness. Guided by our commitment to achieve net zero by 2050, we are accelerating our focus on renewable energy, resource efficiency, and responsible manufacturing. Through structured engagement with strategic supplier partners, we continue to strengthen sustainability performance across the value chain. Our vertically integrated manufacturing model enables optimisation at every stage of production, reducing waste, lowering emissions, and improving resource utilisation. From cleaner energy adoption and water conservation to circular packaging solutions, we continue to embed sustainability across our operations.

Key Sustainability Highlights

  • 50% green energy usage at our Urse manufacturing facility in Pune
  • Transitioning melting furnaces to cleaner energy sources
  • Increased molten metal sourcing at Chennai to reduce carbon intensity
  • 90% returnable packaging for local dispatches
  • Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) system at Chennai facility
  • Water conservation through reduction, harvesting, and recharge initiatives

For us, sustainability goes beyond compliance—it is a strategic capability that will define competitiveness in the die casting industry while helping shape a more responsible future.
